Darin Moore

I am a native of San Antonio, TX and a proud graduate from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em!). I have been working as counsel in the tech industry since my graduation from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School in 2015 and I have experience managing issues in intellectual property, commercial law, corporate governance, product, and data privacy/security law.

I take pride in my work, and ensure that it takes into account both the details and the "big picture." I strive to produce high-quality legal work and have worked hard to hone my professional skills in legal research and writing, written and oral communication, and fostering professional relationships with current and former colleagues.

While it may sound cliché, my personal philosophy boils down to a simple phrase that we all learned early in life: treat others how you would want to be treated. No matter who I encounter or under what circumstance we meet, it is important to treat each and every person with kindness and empathy.

Treating people with respect may be a personal philosophy of mine, but I believe it is very important to bring that philosophy into professional settings as well. Companies are made up of professionals, and those professionals are people just like myself. So treat them well! 

I make it my mission to better myself every day by taking small steps that develop into big results over time. I also make sure to help others around me better themselves and realize their potential. My friends and former and current colleagues can attest that I do what I can to help you succeed.

My professional goals are to: (1) work with products and for companies in which I believe, (2) surround myself with like-minded, hard workers who have a genuine passion for their work and for life, and (3) continue learning or creating something new.
